Star Blue - Business Card Design

Sharp angles, electric blue, and a star that spins — Star Blue's business card design is the kind that stays on the desk instead of the bin.

This is an exploration of logo and business card designs from a pivotal period in my creative journey. At the time, I was studying design while working as a graphic designer and print operator at a printing press in Malang, East Java.

It was an immersive, hands-on education — learning print design from the inside out: understanding color profiles for print, mastering bleed areas, and respecting the safe margins before the paper hits the cutter. Exciting times.

Business Card Design — Star Blue

Stationery Design · Brand Identity · Creative Studio

A clean, geometry-driven business card for Star Blue — a brand whose identity is built around a striking angular star logomark, constructed from sharp, overlapping triangular facets in electric blue. The mark has a dynamic, pinwheel-like quality — as if caught mid-rotation — communicating energy, creativity, and precision in equal measure.

The card system presents two complementary sides: the front face centers the logo on a solid charcoal grey background with the wordmark "STAR**BLUE**" in mixed-weight type — confident and minimal. The reverse splits into a white logo zone and a matching charcoal contact panel, organizing details for Creative Director Jhon Liu with clean icon-led typography.

Two-color, two-sided, and entirely self-assured — a business card that reflects exactly the kind of design thinking that gets noticed.
