A suite of custom character illustrations created for Tamawal® — Saudi Arabia's premier Sharia-compliant digital financing marketplace — designed to humanize the platform's user experience across onboarding flows, marketing campaigns, and customer support touchpoints.

The user illustration pair presents two Saudi individuals in their natural digital context: a man in traditional white thobe and red-checked ghutrah, smiling as he interacts with his phone — embodying the everyday borrower discovering financing options with ease; and a woman in modest black abaya, bracelet on her wrist, phone in hand with a focused, considered expression — representing the modern Saudi woman engaging with financial services on her own terms. Both figures are rendered in a contemporary flat-illustration style with warm, realistic skin tones and culturally precise attire — neither caricature nor stereotype, but genuine, dignified representation.

The customer support illustration offers a closer portrait: a Saudi man in the Tamawal thobe — white with the brand's blue "T" logomark embroidered on the chest — wearing a headset and raising one finger in the universal gesture of "let me explain." His expression is open, warm, and knowledgeable — the face of a platform that wants its users to feel supported, not processed. The soft blue halo behind him grounds the character in Tamawal's brand color language.

Together these illustrations form a visual language that does something rare in Gulf fintech design: they show Saudi people using Saudi financial tools, in their own clothes, in their own context — communicating that Tamawal was built for them, not adapted from somewhere else.
