Djava

Watch a video about Tahu Pong Semarang — then buy it directly from the same screen. Djava is where Javanese cultural content and commerce finally share the same stage.

App UI Design — Djava

Mobile App · Social Video Sharing + Embedded E-Commerce · Javanese Culture

A culturally rich, concept-forward mobile app UI for Djava — a platform combining social video sharing with embedded e-commerce, built specifically around Javanese cultural content: culinary, craft, and heritage.

The app logo — a stylized wayang head merged with a play button icon in warm gold — communicates the platform's dual identity instantly: Javanese cultural content, delivered digitally.

Screen 1 — Video Detail with Commerce: A food video plays — "Seharian Menjajal Enaknya Kuliner Unik Tahu Pong Semarang" — with 2,457 views, 1,023 likes, and 32 dislikes. Below the video metrics sits the app's defining feature: a prominent gold "Beli Tahu Pong Ini" (Buy This Tahu Pong) CTA — an embedded commerce button that lets viewers purchase the product featured in the video without leaving the content experience. The related video list below surfaces more Javanese content: Sate Klatak, Mengenal Keris Pamor Rojo.

Screen 2 — Discovery Feed: Popular videos curated by category — "Perbedaan Antara Blangkon Jogja dan Blangkon Solo" (15:25), traditional crafts, keris — alongside a search bar with category filter. The bottom tab bar — Videos, Store, Events, News — confirms a complete cultural platform ecosystem, not just a video feed.

The warm dark UI with gold accents communicates the premium, culturally respectful positioning of a platform that treats Javanese heritage as something worth preserving — and worth buying into.

A platform where watching becomes knowing, and knowing becomes owning.
