Rent Gear

"Leave your stress behind — Hike the Mountains, Dive into the Sea" — RentGear makes the outdoors accessible to everyone who wants the adventure without the gear investment.

App UI Design — RentGear

Mobile App · Outdoor Gear Rental · Indonesia

A clean, adventure-forward app UI for RentGear — an outdoor equipment rental platform built on a simple, liberating idea: "Gak perlu ribet beli barang mahal, rental aja!" (No need to bother buying expensive gear — just rent!).

Three screens cover the complete rental journey:

Home — Category Discovery: A hero shot of a hiker with a full red backpack opens the screen — the aspiration made visual before a word is read. Below it, a category grid: Backpack (highlighted, active), Tent, Footwear, Sleeping Equipment, Cooking, Misc. The category grid is the app's primary navigation — organized around what outdoor adventurers actually need, not abstract product taxonomy. A Testimony carousel at the bottom adds social proof from real users (@senjapt and others).

Category Listing — Backpacks: A two-column product grid showing the Backpack Aiger 30 liter at Rp. 50,5K/day — consistent pricing, consistent product photography, a search and filter bar at the top. The daily rental pricing model is the page's most important design decision: it reframes expensive outdoor gear from a purchase barrier into an affordable daily expense, making the adventure feel achievable.

Product Detail: Backpack Aiger 30 liter — full product image, description, specifications table (Capacity: 30 liter, Dimension: 30×60×30, Weight: 6.75kg), daily price (50,5K/day), and a prominent orange "Take this one" CTA. The spec table is the detail screen's most functional element — exactly the information a first-time renter needs before committing.

The warm autumn-leaf background, orange brand accents, and earthy product photography create a visual identity that feels as much at home in the forest as the gear it rents out.
