Prakerja
6,547,629 registered, 23 days left for Wave 1, Rp. 400,000 training balance — Prakerja's app redesign brings Indonesia's largest government upskilling program to life with the clarity and warmth its millions of users deserve.

App UI Design — Prakerja
Mobile App · Government Online Training Program · Indonesia
A clean, accessible three-screen app UI for Prakerja — Indonesia's national pre-employment card program that provides online training subsidies and financial incentives to workers, job seekers, and those affected by layoffs (PHK). Designed during the pandemic when the program became a critical social safety net for millions of Indonesians.
Home Screen: "Solusi di tengah pandemi — Dase di tengah badai PHK" (Solution in the middle of the pandemic — a beacon in the storm of layoffs) frames the program's purpose with empathetic directness. Live program stats show the urgency: Wave 1 closes in 23 days, 6,547,629 registered, 95,384 participants accepted (58%), 164,000 quota available. "Lihat pilihan kelas — Ada 657 kelas pelatihan terbaik" (See class options — 657 best training classes available) drives discovery.
FAQ Screen: "Informasi & FAQ — Apa itu Prakerja? / Cara join Prakerja / Cara dapat uang insentif / Gimana prakteknya? / Semua bisa lewat video?" — the five most common questions new users have, organized as an expandable FAQ list with a search bar. The colloquial, youth-friendly copy ("Ngapain sih ada giniya?") makes a government program feel approachable rather than bureaucratic.
User Dashboard: Mulyono Sujiwo from Klothok, Plumpang, Tuban — a real small-town Indonesian user — with Saldo Dana Pelatihan Rp. 400,000 and three enrolled courses at different progress stages: Pelatihan Ojek Online (100% LULUS, Rp. 200,000), Sukses Kerja Sampingan (30% BERJALAN, Rp. 200,000), Trik Buka Usaha (10% BERJALAN, Rp. 200,000).
The purple gradient palette communicates both the official government program identity and the digital-forward, accessible tone needed to serve a demographic that ranges from fresh graduates to displaced factory workers across the Indonesian archipelago.
A government app redesign that treats its users — millions of Indonesians navigating economic uncertainty — with the dignity and clarity they deserve.
