"Silaturrahim Dulur Saking Tuban" — Kokaku is a community contact app built around the bonds that matter most: your people, near you, always within reach.

App UI Design — Kokaku

Mobile App · Community Contact Manager · Android · Tuban Community

A community-focused contact management app designed for the Tuban diaspora — "Dulur Saking Tuban" (Brothers and Sisters from Tuban) — built around the concept of silaturrahim (maintaining bonds of kinship) in a digital-first world.

The app goes beyond a standard phone contacts replacement. The six-screen UI spread reveals a complete community contact ecosystem: a personal contact detail view with photo, phone number, nickname, asal (origin), and social handles (@didin, @didingeonk) — a richer profile structure than the default phone contact format, designed for people who want to know more than just a number.

The home screen ("Silaturrahim Dulur Saking Tuban — 25 March") surfaces the community layer: a contact list grouped by proximity and shared identity. The standout feature is "Contact Near You" — a proximity-based contact discovery screen showing community members by distance (126m, 102m, 76m) — a genuinely useful feature for a diaspora community scattered across a city who want to know when a fellow Tuban native is nearby.

Additional screens cover contact creation (with nickname/panggillan fields), location tagging, and the KOKAKU-branded home screen widget — confirming a fully thought-through product, not just a UI exercise.

Designed using real personal data as placeholder — the kind of detail that only happens when a designer builds something they actually want to use.
