UI/UX Design — Snapnotes

Mobile App · Productivity · Note Taking

Snapnotes is a feature-rich note-taking app designed around real, everyday use cases. The home screen presents notes in a Pinterest-style masonry grid, with each card color-coded by priority or mood — a recipe grocery list in white, a honey purchase reminder in orange, a tax payment alert in yellow, a WiFi password note in neutral, a medicine restock in green. Filter tabs (All, High-Prio, Favorite, Cook) let users cut through the noise fast.

The note editor screen goes beyond plain text — supporting rich formatting (bold, italic, underline, highlight), inline images, and numbered lists, as seen in a detailed asset declaration note with an embedded Jeep Rubicon Wrangler image. A bottom toolbar provides quick access to color themes, background wallpapers, image insertion, and collaboration tools, giving each note a distinct visual identity. Voice input and camera shortcuts in the home screen's bottom bar make capturing new notes frictionless, whether typing, speaking, or snapping a photo.
