HeyHeySaladin
I'm Designing Solutions for Human — HeyHeySaladin is Adin's personal portfolio website, where the designer behind the work finally steps into the frame wearing a spacesuit and waving hello.

Web Design — HeyHeySaladin
Personal Portfolio Website · UX/UI Designer & Frontend Developer · heyheysaladin.web.app
A dark, personality-forward personal portfolio website for Adin (Mohammed Salahuddin) — a UI/UX designer and frontend developer — built around a hero that communicates both professional capability and unmistakable personal identity.
The hero opens with "Hey, I am Saladin..." — casual, direct, human — followed by the professional declaration in bold display type: "I'M DESIGNING SOLUTIONS FOR HUMAN." The subtext grounds the claim: "I create solutions with user experience research, user interface design and frontend development skills." Three disciplines, one sentence, no padding. A purple "Let's Talk" CTA converts attention into conversation.
The star of the hero is the Adinstronaut — Adin's illustrated self-portrait as an astronaut in a purple spacesuit, pink helmet, waving with a laptop in hand, floating in a deep purple cosmos scattered with geometric fragments. The character communicates personality, creativity, and the lightness of someone who takes their work seriously but takes themselves lightly. It's a mascot, a signature, and a brand identity all in one illustration — the visual equivalent of a designer who knows exactly who they are.
The dark mode toggle in the upper right corner confirms the site supports both dark and light viewing modes — a technical detail that also communicates the designer's craft: someone who built the switch, not just toggled it.
The "HeySaladin" script wordmark in warm gold anchors the top left — the same signature energy as the astronaut, in typographic form.
A portfolio that introduces its designer with the confidence, warmth, and visual clarity that every piece of work in it was built to deliver.
