Tresnan
Tresnan — the Balinese word for love — is a dating app that carries its cultural identity in its name and delivers it through every pixel of its warm, intimate design.

App UI Design — Tresnan
Mobile App · Dating App · Balinese Culture · Indonesia
A warm, culturally grounded dating app UI for Tresnan — whose name comes from the Balinese/Javanese word "tresna" meaning love or affection — a platform designed to bring the spirit of Balinese romantic culture into the modern swipe-based dating format.
The single hero screen shows the core discovery interaction: a full-bleed profile photo of a young Balinese woman in a red floral dress and woven hat, smiling against a colorful Bali-textured backdrop — natural, warm, and culturally specific in its photographic identity. The photography is editorial in quality, communicating that this is a platform that takes its users' presentation seriously.
The interaction system at the bottom is the familiar three-button dating app pattern — Pass (✕), More Info (···), and Like (♥) — rendered in white circular buttons against a soft pink bottom bar. The purple heart for Like and the muted purple for More Info create a gentle, romantic color tension with the pink — warm, feminine, and entirely in keeping with Balinese aesthetics that favor floral, warm palettes.
The Tresnan logomark at the top — a broken/healing heart — communicates the app's emotional territory: not just matching, but the vulnerability and hope of genuine romantic connection. The chat bubble icon in the upper right confirms the platform moves beyond matching into conversation.
Photographed in-hand against a dark, blurred background — the intimacy of someone actually using the app to find someone — the mockup presentation is as considered as the design itself.
A dating app that knows its culture, honors it in its name, and builds a UI worthy of it.
