Klik LPD

Klik LPD brings Bali's village credit institution into the digital age — without losing the cultural identity that makes LPD worth trusting in the first place.

App UI Design — Klik LPD

Mobile Banking App · Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) · Bali · Fintech

A mobile app UI design for Klik LPD — a digital modernization initiative for Bali's LPD (Lembaga Perkreditan Desa), the traditional village-based credit institution that has been the financial backbone of Balinese communities for decades. The challenge: bring LPD into the smartphone era while honoring the cultural context it serves.

The login screen is presented in three contextual variants — each featuring a different user persona against the same UI structure: a delivery worker, a Balinese farmer in traditional attire mid-harvest, and two tourists on a scooter. The variant approach is a deliberate UX research decision, exploring how the same financial platform communicates differently across the diverse user segments that interact with Bali's village economy — local workers, traditional community members, and the tourism sector that flows through LPD-connected businesses.

Each card shares the same structural DNA: a photo header that contextualizes the user, "Nama Pengguna" and "Kata Sandi" fields, and a bold red "MASUK / LOG IN" CTA — but the persona photography shifts the emotional register entirely. The batik pattern at the card base is the design's most culturally specific detail: a textile reference that grounds the app in Balinese identity without being decorative for its own sake.

A fintech UI that respects where the money comes from — and who it serves.
